QA Automation Engineer

What we would like you to do

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with relevant experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products that is being produced by our dedicated development teams.

What you need for this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in QA automation or a related role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

For Front End QA

  • Will work directly with the frontend team, and support them in testing releases and writing e2e flows
  • Proficiency with tools/frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Protractor (legacy)
  • Familiarity with Angular TestBed (for component/unit integration) and how it complements E2E.
  • Awareness of non-functional aspects in E2E testing: Performance testing (page load times, API latency). Cross-browser & cross-device testing.

What would your responsabilities be?

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
  • Execute automated tests and analyse results to identify defects and ensure product quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
  • Continuously improve and optimize the automation framework and testing processes.
  • Document and report test results, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Help in keeping business documentation up to date with the latest changes in process and procedures
